Due to the company's continued growth, there is a requirement to expand the Engineering team by hiring a Design Office Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the design office function, ensuring the efficient delivery of engineering and design projects to agreed quality, cost, and schedule targets.

The role provides technical leadership, resource management, and continuous improvement across all design activities while ensuring compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and company procedures.

What we would like from the Design Office Manager: Degree/HND in Engineering or a related discipline Significant experience in engineering design and project delivery Strong understanding of engineering design processes 3 years' experience with CAD (preferably SolidWorks) Experience within process-related industries such as steel, aluminium, and glass Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities Strong Leadership and people management skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Commercial awareness and budget management Ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams What we offer the Design Office Manager: Salary up to £70,000 xwzovoh doe 35-hour week 25 days annual leave 8 Bank Holidays Company pension is 3% from employee and 8% from employer Private Medical Healthcare 4x salary death benefit Overtime available Half Day on Friday – finish at 12.30 pm Progression available Opportunity to travel to clients (mainly outside the UK) If this opportunity as the Design Office Manager is of interest to you, don't hesitate to get in touch asap!
