Private Client Solicitor / CILEX – Wills & Probate

Location: London & Home Counties

Experience: 2–4 years’ PQE preferred

I’m working with a growing Private Client team that is looking to add a talented Wills & Probate professional to its expanding division.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a supportive, growing team where there is genuine scope to develop their career and take on increasing responsibility.

The ideal candidate

We’re ideally looking for someone with 2–4 years’ PQE, although we’re also happy to consider candidates who have strong paralegal experience before qualifying or who are CILEX qualified.

You’ll ideally have experience in

• Managing your own caseload, taking client instructions and liaising with beneficiaries, HMRC and professional referrers
• Drafting Wills, including those incorporating trusts
• Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Probate and estate administration
• Preparing and submitting IHT400 inheritance tax accounts
• Understanding inheritance tax rules and completing inheritance tax calculations
• Trust administration would be advantageous, although not essential
• Holding, or being willing to work towards, the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates
