AI Engineer - 6 Month Contract

AI Engineer – Edinburgh

We are urgently looking for an AI Engineer for a six‑month contract with a high chance of extension in our Edinburgh development centre.

The Role

This is a hybrid role (two days onsite) inside IR35. As part of a growing team of about 15 engineers you will work on a new product that will significantly impact the service we provide to customers. Your responsibilities include adding value to the project from day one, delivering AI and ML solutions, and mentoring junior developers.

The Tech

• Python
• Experience in AI solution integration, data science or data engineering
• OpenAI or generative AI
• TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Elasticsearch or graph databases such as Neo4J
• CI/CD pipelines, Terraform

Rate

Day rate of £500 – £600, depending on experience and contribution, with the chance for a long‑term extension.
