Human Factors Engineer Location: Dorset/Hybrid

- 3 days on site Duration: 12 months Contract : Inside IR35 Rate : £76.98 UMBRELLA Typical duties include (but are not limited to): • Support Vigilant lead HFI specialist in the conduct of human factors activities and integration of HF into the TRINITY design • Work with end user groups and HF stakeholders in workshops, trials and User-Centred Design activities • Assess prototypes/mock-ups of TRINITY hardware and software solutions • Conduct analyses such as, task analysis, human error analysis, usability and workload assessments • Support Integration Testing and verification activities • Produce reports and input to customer deliverables.
Knowledge:
- At least five years' experience of applying Human Factors methods in defence or a safety-critical industry Skills:
- Experience applying Def Stan 00-251 and working within a multi-disciplinary team on complex system integration and development projects Qualifications:
- A recognised Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent qualification in Human Factors, Ergonomics, xwzovoh Psychology or Engineering (with specific Human Factors Experience)
- Registered membership of the Chartered Institute of Human Factors (or eligibility for CIEHF Chartership via an equivalent body) If this could be of interest, please get in touch or feel free to share with your network.
