What Does a Foster Carer Do? A Foster Carer provides a safe and caring environment for children and young people who cannot live with their birth families.

Its a skilled, home-based role that is both emotionally and financially rewarding.

Essential Criteria: Have a permanent spare bedroom You must be over 21 years old A commitment to training and professional development Have the right to remain in the UK Communication and interpersonal skills What are the benefits?
