Key Responsibilities Carry out TIG welding on aluminium and stainless steel components Perform pre-cleaning, setup, welding using filler material, and vacuum testing Read and interpret customer drawings and specifications Adjust weld settings to suit varying materials and conditions Use measuring equipment to ensure quality and accuracy Organise and maintain personal workspace and tools Work in line with company health & safety and ISO procedures Contribute to continuous improvement activities across production What Theyre Looking For Previous TIG welding experience with aluminium and stainless steel Experience working on vacuum or low-pressure systems advantageous Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and quality standards Experience using measuring equipment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with Miller Dynasty welding equipment beneficial but not essential Aerospace, nuclear, or similar high-specification industry experience desirable Engineering apprenticeship or formal technical qualification advantageous Whats on Offer Competitive salary depending on experience Permanent position within a growing engineering business Flexible working hours Early finish on Fridays Training and development opportunities provided Supportive and collaborative workshop environment Additional Information By applying for this position, you confirm that you have read and understood our Data Privacy Statement and give Bolt Technical authorisation to hold your provided data.
