Senior Quantity Surveyor

Im working with a leading main contractor who is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing London team, based out of their Blackfriars office.

This Senior Quantity Surveyor role has come about due to a strong pipeline of secured work across residential, commercial and healthcare projects.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will take ownership of key packages and play a key role in the commercial delivery of projects.

This is a good opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who wants to be involved in major London schemes while working within a well-structured commercial team.

Duties: Take commercial ownership as Senior Quantity Surveyor on live projects Manage subcontractor packages from procurement through to final account Prepare and manage valuations, variations and final accounts Produce forecasts, CVRs and cost reports Work closely with Project Managers and site teams Support and mentor junior commercial staff Contribute to value engineering and commercial strategy Requirements: Experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or strong Quantity Surveyor stepping up Background with a main contractor or large subcontractor Experience delivering residential, commercial xwzovoh or healthcare projects Strong understanding of subcontractor management and final accounts Confident working on live projects and engaging with site teams Good commercial awareness and reporting experience This Senior Quantity Surveyor role would suit someone looking to take on more responsibility within a busy contractor that has a strong pipeline of work across London.
