Make a Difference in Early Years – Reception Teacher Wanted!

Supply Desk is currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced Reception Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Abbots Langley from January 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong and confident Early Years practitioner looking for a part-time teaching position within a supportive school environment.

Working as part of a job-share arrangement, you will take responsibility for delivering high-quality teaching and learning across the Reception class, including full planning, preparation and assessment.

The Role:

Teaching a Reception class, delivering engaging and creative lessons.

Working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week.

Taking full responsibility for planning, preparation and assessment.

Supporting children's early development, learning and progress.

Working collaboratively as part of a job-share arrangement.

Creating a positive, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Has strong Early Years and Reception teaching experience.

Confident managing a classroom and delivering the full teaching role.

Has excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework.

Can demonstrate strong planning, organisation and assessment skills.

Is reliable, enthusiastic and committed to achieving the best outcomes for pupils.
