Bookkeeper - £30,000 - £40,000 About the Role BlackFox Solutions are delighted to be seeking a reliable and detail-focused Bookkeeper to manage our clients day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organisation, accuracy, and working with numbers, and who enjoys being a key part of a businesss financial operations. Key Responsibilities Recording financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments Maintaining and updating accounting records and ledgers Performing bank and credit card reconciliations Managing accounts payable and receivable Preparing and submitting VAT returns Assisting with payroll processing Producing financial reports for management Supporting accountants with month-end and year-end procedures Requirements Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance role Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices Proficiency in accounting software Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organisational and time-management skills Ability to handle confidential information with integrity Desirable AAT qualification or equivalent Knowledge of UK VAT regulations Skills: VAT Bookkeeper Bookkeeping Payroll
