This role would suit a skilled Vehicle Technician or similar, with experience in plant and vehicle fitting, who is confident carrying out diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and maintenance while maintaining exceptional quality and safety standards.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out servicing and repairs, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring vehicles and plant equipment are maintained to the highest standards both in the workshop and occasionally at customer sites.
The Role
Diagnosing faults and carrying out vehicle and plant repairs
Performing servicing, maintenance, and safety inspections
Working on brakes, clutches, suspension, gearboxes, and diagnostics
Occasional off-site repair and maintenance work
Opportunities for overtime and career progression
The Person:
Mot testing experience (Preferred)
Vehicle Technician or similar background
Experience with plant and vehicle fitting
NVQ or equivalent Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification
Full UK Driving Licence with 6 points or less
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
