We are seeking a passionate classroom practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning, nurturing positive relationships, and helping every child achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will: Be an excellent teacher with high expectations for all pupils Demonstrate strong classroom management and effective teaching practice Be committed to inclusion, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing Work collaboratively as part of a supportive staff team Have a creative and engaging approach to the curriculum Be reflective, motivated, and eager to contribute to school life Main Duties Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment where children can thrive Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress accurately and use this information to inform future teaching Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and presentation Differentiate learning to support pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND and disadvantaged pupils Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and external agencies where appropriate Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities, events, and school initiatives Uphold school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety requirements Participate fully in staff meetings, training, performance management, and professional development opportunities Why Horizon Teachers: Horizon Teachers is committed to ensuring our staff are happy in their roles, please look at our 4.8 rated google reviews We offer free online Safeguarding Training Course to support you in your work in an educational setting!
