Maintenance Operative Taskmaster Resources LTD are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Operative on behalf of our client based in Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire (MK44).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on individual with a mechanical background to join a busy and fast-paced recycling site.

The Role: As a Maintenance Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the site.

You will be responsible for maintaining equipment, carrying out repairs, and supporting general site upkeep to minimise downtime and ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities: Carry out routine maintenance and servicing of site machinery and equipment Diagnose faults and perform repairs to minimise disruption Maintain and repair balers and associated recycling equipment Conduct general site repairs, including buildings and infrastructure Repair and replace fence panels around the site perimeter Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations Support continuous improvement of maintenance processes Skills & Experience Required: Previous experience in a maintenance or mechanical role Practical experience repairing fencing, panels, or site structures Experience working within a recycling, industrial, or similar environment is desirable Knowledge of machinery maintenance and fault finding Background in automotive, mechanical, or engineering work would be advantageous Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach Working Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00 17:00 Pay: £13.00 per hour Whats on Offer: Full-time, ongoing work Opportunity to gain experience in a busy industrial environment Supportive team and working environment Potential for long-term opportunities for the right candidate For more information please apply. xwzovoh
