About the role
We are looking for a commercially minded Senior Relationship Manager to build and manage strong relationships with business owners, directors and senior decision-makers across the Black Country and wider West Midlands.
This is a consultative, relationship-led role focused on understanding business challenges, growth plans and support needs, then connecting businesses with the right opportunities, contacts and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop a portfolio of key business relationships.
Hold regular review meetings with business owners and senior leaders.
Understand commercial challenges, growth ambitions and support needs.
Provide practical guidance and identify relevant support, funding, training and networking opportunities.
Facilitate introductions, collaborations and commercial opportunities.
Identify opportunities for additional services and support.
Maintain accurate CRM records and account plans.
Attend networking events, meetings and regional business activities.
Build strong relationships across the wider business community.
The role requires proactive account management, strong engagement and the ability to identify opportunities that add value to both the business and the organisation.

Comfortable identifying commercial opportunities without taking a hard-sales approach.
A strong networker with excellent communication skills.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in business support, account management, consultancy, professional services or business advisory roles , as well as individuals who have previously run or managed their own SME .
In return, the package includes;
Hybrid working with a minimum of two days per week in the office, alongside regular external meetings and events. Benefits include 27 days holiday plus bank holidays, birthday leave, pension, healthcare scheme and death in service cover.
