We'd like you to join us as a Housekeeper at our service Frenchay in Bristol.
Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre is a 52 bed centre, we specialise in the treatment of adults with complex physical and cognitive impairments, challenging behaviours and neuropsychiatric disorders resulting from a brain injury. We offer comprehensive assessment, rehabilitation and therapy with amazing facilities including Accessible therapy kitchens, Hydrotherapy pool, Two gymnasiums plus 5 large day rooms, three with direct access landscaped gardens. We also have 2 minibuses and a car for those important appointments and days out!
What you'll be working:
Part time
14 hours per week
£25,400.16 (FTE) Per annum (Pro rata)
What you'll be doing:
Work as part of the onsite domestic team ensuring a high standard of upkeep is achieved and maintained
General cleaning of premises including floors, sinks, toilets, wash hand basins, baths, work showers, surfaces, cupboards etc. using designated equipment and re-stocking materials as required
Carry out periodic cleaning, such as corridor walls, windows and carpets using the appropriate machines/tools
Correct usage, storage and care of cleaning equipment, adhering to COSHH procedures
Ensure a smart appearance wearing the company uniform provided
Provide high levels of Customer Care at all times
Complete all statutory and mandatory training, whether it be delivered face-to-face or via e-learning, deemed relevant to their role.
What you'll have:
A genuine interest in working within a caring environment
Previous experience as a Housekeeper from either a Healthcare or Domestic cleaning background
Experience working unsupervised and on your own initiative
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
