Sales Director (Full Time)

Job Title: Head of Sales - Automation & Intralogistics Type: Full time Location: Remote, UK (national travel) Shifts: Monday-Friday Please note you must have full and legal rights to work in the UK or Ireland. (We are seeking a senior, results-driven sales leader to drivegrowth across Automation and Products & Equipment (P&E). You will lead a team of 10+, own the full sales lifecycle, and deliver large, complex projects while building a strong, sustainable pipeline aligned to regional strategy. Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team Own the bid/no-bid process and full sales lifecycle Build strategic key accounts and drive new business opportunities Recruit, develop and performance-manage top talent Ensure strong sales governance, forecasting and reporting Proven leadership experience in a regional/national sales role (team size 10+) Demonstrated success in selling complex projects £35m+ (ideally £75m+) within the last 3 years Strong track record of building, developing and leading high-performing teams Experience managing the full lifecycle of complex, solution-based sales Commercially astute with strong focus on revenue, margin and risk management Strong financial awareness of project performance Previous line management experience Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) Full UK driving licence required (company car provided) Wills Consultants is an independent recruitment consultancy specialising in engineering, finance and office professionals. xkybehq Wills Consultants has an extensive client base that ranges from the thriving SME sector through to national and international PLCs and actively support the Armed Forces Covenant.
