Academics is looking to recruit a skilled Design Technology Teacher to work in secondary schools across Bradford. We welcome applications from teachers specialising in Resistant Materials, Product Design, Engineering, Graphics or Construction.

The Role

You will:

• Teach Design Technology across KS3 and KS4.
• Deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons.
• Maintain workshop health and safety standards.
• Support students with practical coursework and GCSE projects.
• Assess and monitor student progress.
• Work collaboratively within the DT department.

Requirements

Applicants should have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Design Technology in UK secondary schools.
• Strong practical workshop knowledge.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and student success.
