Location: Elland
Salary: £28,000 - £33000 dependant upon experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We're recruiting on behalf of an established engineering business in Elland that is looking for an Internal Sales Administrator to join its team.

This is a varied role where you'll be at the heart of the customer journey, supporting customers from initial enquiry and quotation through to order processing and delivery. You'll work closely with sales, production and other internal teams to make sure customers receive a responsive, reliable service.

What you'll be doing
Handling incoming customer enquiries by telephone and email
Processing customer orders accurately using Sage
Preparing and sending customer quotations
Keeping customers updated on orders, pricing and delivery times
Building positive, professional relationships with customers
Processing customer payments in line with company procedures
Liaising with sales, production and other internal departments to ensure orders run smoothly
Resolving day-to-day customer queries and helping to find solutions
Maintaining accurate customer and order records
Supporting the wider team to deliver an excellent customer experience

What we're looking for
Ideally, you'll have around 3-5 years' experience within customer service, internal sales, sales administration or sales support .

Experience within an engineering, manufacturing, technical or industrial environment would be beneficial, although we're equally interested in people with strong transferable experience.

You'll also need:
Excellent communication skills and a genuinely customer-focused approach
Strong organisation and attention to detail
Confidence speaking with customers over the phone
The ability to manage several priorities at once
A proactive, team-focused attitude
Experience using Sage would be an advantage

What's on offer
£28 -£33,000 salary , depending on experience
