EMEA Payroll Specialist Location – Manchester, United KingdomHybrid Working Policy.The EMEA Payroll Specialist will manage and oversee our payroll processes for our sites in EMEA, (Allocated various region(s) UK, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Spain etc) with our third party payroll provider.What you will get:Ongoing development and support towards your career objectivesAn inclusive and ethical workplaceHybrid working policy – 2 days in the office, 3 days working from homeA variety of benefits tailored to your localality.Access to global benefits via What you will do:Responsible for an accurate and timely payment of the salaries for Lonza employees in the responsible sitesCo-ordinate and oversee accurate payroll information with our third party payroll provider for employees based in EMEAReview and verify payroll data, calculate overtime and other pay premiums, and enter payroll data in accordance with country regulations (e.g. withholding tax, social insurance etc.).Oversee maintenance of payroll records and files including but not limited to sick time and vacation and other accrued leave.Communicate with employees of all levels regarding all payroll matters, including troubleshooting of complex issuesCollect payroll, benefit information from various sources, and provide monthly payroll instructions to our payroll provider.What we are looking for:Strong experience within payroll – ideally will have had exposure to additional European entitiesGreat organizational and communication skills.Team player – a continued willingness to support and encourage your colleaguesExperienced excel user (v-look ups and pivot tables)Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skillsAbout LonzaAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
