Sample/Laboratory Administrator

Salary:£25,000-£27,000 per annum.

- 9.30am to 6.00pm Beechwood Laboratories, founded in 1984 and based in Doagh, Ballyclare, is an independent laboratory providing both chemical and microbiological testing of raw materials, finished products and associated samples.

We are currently seeking a Sample/Laboratory Administrator to join our growing team.

About The Role The Sample/Laboratory Administrator role is primarily administrative, but will also involve providing support within the laboratory when required.

Previous laboratory experience would therefore be beneficial.

The role Booking in of samples Generating reports Answering customer queries Filing information Potentially some basic accounting processes Liaising with lab managers on customer issues and queries Any other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time Required Criteria GCSEs in English Language, Science and Mathematics, at grade C or above, or an equivalent qualification.

Experience in a fast-paced work environment Excellent computer literacy skills.

A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Desired Criteria A-level (or equivalent) in a Science related subject. xwzovoh

A minimum of 1 years experience in a food (chemistry or microbiology) laboratory.
