This position offers the opportunity to work within a professional, customer-focused environment, supporting a busy service team and maximising service sales. Benefits for the successful Service Advisor: Competitive basic salary between £28,000 and £32,000 per annum Working Monday to Friday, with Saturday work on a rota (1 in 2) Opportunities for ongoing professional development within a well-established dealership Supportive team environment with modern management systems including Autoworks Involvement in upselling vehicle reports and customer job estimates to increase revenue Chance to utilise extensive experience in a prestige or independent workshopDuties of the Service Advisor: Greet customers at front of house, managing bookings via phone and online platforms Liaise with workshop control, managers, and technicians to ensure smooth workflow Upsell additional services and parts to optimise vehicle service revenue Prepare vehicle health reports (VHC) and customer job estimates Use Autoworks system to assist with bookings, parts sourcing, and job costing Maintain high standards of customer service and accurate documentation Ensure proper follow-up and communication with customers throughout the service processRequirements: Minimum of three years’ experience as a Service Advisor within an independent garage or prestige dealership Full UK driving licence Enthusiastic attitude with excellent communication skills Ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently under pressure Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Knowledge of systems such as Autoworks, with a good understanding of vehicle servicing processes If you are a skilled Service Advisor seeking a rewarding role in Chelmsford, Essex, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
