Depot Manager

Depot Manager Location: Immingham Salary: Up to £50,000 + Company Car Are you an experienced transport professional who is an all rounder? We are working with a well-established container haulage company based in Immingham, looking to appoint a proactive and hands-on Depot Manager to oversee their busy operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business where you will play a key role in driving efficiency, compliance, and team performance. The Role: As Depot Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the depot, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. You will lead from the front, managing drivers, planners, and office staff, while maintaining high service standards for customers. Container planning experience is a must! Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily transport operations, ensuring all deliveries and collections run efficiently Manage and support a team of drivers and office staff Ensure full compliance with transport regulations, including driver hours and vehicle maintenance Monitor KPIs, performance, and costs to drive operational improvements Build and maintain a cost efficient operation, driving customer retention and spend Handle any operational issues, including delays, breakdowns, and driver queries and depot maintenance Requirements: Proven experience within container haulage is essential Previous experience in a supervisory or management role Strong knowledge of UK transport compliance and regulations Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, problem-solving environmentWhat's on Offer: Salary up to £50,000 Company car Opportunity to join a stable and growing business A role where you can make a real impact on operationsIf you're looking for your next challenge within a dynamic haulage environment, we'd love to hear from you.
