London / Euston
Hybrid working - 3 days a week in the office
The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.
We’re looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join an international business based in London. Working within a collaborative HR team, you’ll support employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle, helping to create a positive, productive and compliant working environment.
This is a broad, hands-on HR position where you’ll get involved in everything from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, performance management, HR projects and reporting.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job advertising, candidate screening, interview coordination and offer preparation.
- Lead the onboarding process for new employees, including inductions, documentation and system setup.
- Act as a first point of contact for employee relations queries, escalating more complex matters where appropriate.
- Support employee benefits administration, including enrolment, changes and provider management.
- Maintain accurate employee information and records within HR systems.
- Support performance management processes, including review cycles and OKR setting.
- Help ensure HR practices remain compliant with UK employment law and internal policies.
- Draft and update HR policies, procedures and employee handbook content.
- Coordinate training and development activities and monitor completion.
- Produce HR reports and metrics covering areas such as headcount, employee turnover and time-to-fill.
- Assist with compensation administration, salary benchmarking and HR audits.
- Support employee investigations and conflict resolution alongside HR leadership.
- Contribute to wider HR projects, initiatives and employee recognition programmes.
- Provide occasional office management cover during periods of annual leave or emergencies.
What we’re looking for
You’ll have previous experience within a broad HR position, ideally having progressed from an HR Assistant or Coordinator background. You’ll have a good working knowledge of UK employment law, experience using HRIS platforms and the confidence to work with employees and managers at different levels of the organisation.
You’ll need to be organised, comfortable managing multiple priorities and able to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong communication, attention to detail and the ability to build trusted relationships will be important.
The role is based in London Euston and operates on a hybrid basis, with three days per week in the office. xwzovoh
