The role offers a varied caseload spanning corporate transactions, commercial contracting and strategic advisory work for a diverse client base, including owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs, investors and established corporate organisations.The successful candidate will take ownership of matters, work directly with clients and collaborate closely with colleagues across different practice areas. There is also significant scope to contribute to business development initiatives and the long-term growth of the team.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvising on mergers, acquisitions and disposalsDrafting and negotiating shareholders' agreements and investment documentationSupporting corporate restructures and business reorganisationsAdvising on joint ventures and general company law mattersDrafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contractsProviding practical, commercially focused advice to clients across multiple sectorsDeveloping and maintaining strong client relationshipsCandidate RequirementsQualified Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in Corporate & Commercial lawStrong experience handling a mix of corporate transactions and commercial advisory workExcellent drafting and negotiation skillsAbility to manage matters independently while working collaboratively within a teamCommercial awareness and a solutions-focused approachStrong client relationship and business development capabilitiesAmbitious, proactive and keen to contribute to a growing practice
