Junior Application Support Analyst

A job opportunity has arisen for a Junior Application Support Analyst to join a highly established and rapidly expanding financial services organisation based in South Wales. This position offers hybrid working and can be based at either the central Cardiff or Newport offices. The Junior Application Support Analyst will help to maintain the stability, reliability and usability of critical business applications, while gaining hands-on experience across incident management, system monitoring, user support, testing, documentation and application deployments. Key Responsibilities: Assisting in logging, investigating and resolving application incidents to agreed service levels Monitoring application performance and system alerts, escalating issues as and when required Providing support to users and helping to troubleshoot any application issues Maintaining and updating knowledge base articles, support guides and user documentation Supporting application releases and carrying out post-deployment checks This role offers excellent scope for career progression, with the opportunity to learn application support, ITIL processes and testing as part of a highly successful and growing team.
