Permanent £40,000–£45,000 + Excellent Benefits The role offers flexible day-shift working, with typical start and finish times between 7:30am and 5:00pm to suit individual preference We are delighted to be supporting a successful, growing business with a strong reputation for quality and innovation, in their search for an experienced CNC Turner (Setter/Operator). As a CNC Turner, you’ll be working within a modern, clean and fully air-conditioned machine shop, setting and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls. The role offers a great balance of production and technical variety, with opportunities to work on new components and prototypes. Responsibilities as the CNC Turner: • Set and operate CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls. • Take jobs from first-off through to low and medium batch production. • Support repeat production of established components. • Work on new components, prototypes and design changes • Monitor tooling and maintain efficient machining processes. • Carry out in-process inspection and quality checks. The successful CNC Turner will have: • Previous experience setting and operating CNC turning machines – Doosan / Haas. • Experience working with Fanuc controls. • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and precision machining. • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality. • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively. • Experience within a precision engineering or similar manufacturing environment.
