About the role
Commercial & Partnerships Director – Media Network
The Commercial & Partnerships Director leads the development and execution of revenue-generating partnerships and commercial agreements across Brave Bison's Media Network. This role is responsible for building long‑term relationships with platforms, brands, agencies, and strategic partners and clients to create and distribute media, content, and advertising solutions. Working closely with sales, content, marketing, and platform teams, the Director identifies new business opportunities, negotiates commercial agreements, and drives partnership strategies that enhance audience engagement and maximise commercial performance for us and our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the commercial partnerships strategy across Brave Bison's Media Network to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Identify, secure, and manage strategic partnerships with brands, agencies, platforms, publishers, and media owners.
- Lead commercial negotiations, contract development, partnership agreements and client negotiations to maximise value and long‑term business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong senior‑level relationships with clients and key industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams including client leads, content, marketing, social, and production to deliver integrated partnership campaigns and solutions.
- Drive new business development by proactively identifying emerging market trends, partnership opportunities, and revenue streams.
- Oversee the creation of tailored commercial proposals, sponsorship packages, and media solutions aligned to client objectives.
- Monitor partnership performance, campaign delivery, and commercial KPIs to ensure revenue targets and client satisfaction are achieved.
- Represent Brave Bison's Media Network at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to strengthen brand presence and generate new opportunities.
- Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to commercial, partnership and broader team members where applicable.
- Work closely with platform partners such as YouTube, TikTok, Meta, and other digital ecosystems to maximise monetisation opportunities.
- Analyse market and competitor activity to inform commercial strategy and maintain a competitive positioning within the digital media landscape.
- Support forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue reporting for senior leadership stakeholders.
- Ensure all partnerships and commercial activities align with brand values, legal requirements, and company objectives.

Partnerships New Business
- Proven experience in commercial partnerships, business development, media sales, or strategic partnerships within the digital media, advertising, or entertainment industry.
- Strong understanding of the digital media landscape, including social platforms, content monetisation, influencer marketing, and branded content.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage senior‑level client and stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent commercial acumen with strong negotiation, influencing, and deal‑closing skills.
- Track record of delivering revenue growth and achieving ambitious commercial targets.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to identify innovative partnership and monetisation opportunities.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to pitch confidently to clients and partners.
- Experience developing integrated media solutions and commercially driven campaigns.
- Ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams including sales, marketing, content, production, and social media.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret performance data and market insights.
- Highly organised with strong project management and multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results‑driven approach to business growth.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with experience mentoring or managing commercial teams preferred.
- Established network of industry contacts across brands, agencies, media owners, or platform partners is advantageous.
- Passion for digital culture, social media, entertainment, and emerging trends within the creator economy.
- Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving media environment.
