Speech and Language Therapist Full Time - (West Midlands SEN Schools)

Bright Futures, Inspired By You. We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist join our expanding Therapeutic Team in the West Midlands, covering schools in Stoke,Tipton and Wolverhampton. The job role will involve working across 3 school sites with KS3 and KS4 children in a specialist SEN/SEMH environment, the job role will be a Full Time role working Term Time only. Horizon Care & Education are looking for a creative Speech and Language Therapist to join our passionate team, delivering a comprehensive therapeutic service for children in our care. This role involves providing support and oversight to teams in education. Delivery of training is an important aspect of the role. At Horizon we train all our staff in our Shine Therapeutic model which includes DDP/PACE therapeutic parenting. This is an exciting opportunity to further develop and use your therapeutic knowledge and experience to support colleagues across the Group deliver positive outcomes for young people in our independant schools. What you’ll get to do: Manage your own caseload of schools to provide high levels of support and consultation for operational colleagues Provide therapeutic advice and guidance to teams to enable them to support young people throughout their journey with Horizon To be responsible for assessments, goal setting and recommendations for therapeutic support for your own caseload. To develop, write and regularly review/update therapeutic goals for children and young people in education. To develop and contribute to the delivery of therapeuticand psychologicaltraining to all staff in the organisation as part of the Therapeutic Academy. BSc registered Speech and Language Therapist Experience of working with Children and Young People or relevant demonstrable transferable skills We will accept nearly Qualified applications A desire to support services through embedding therapeutic practice Experience of teaching, training and/or supervision.
