Coded Welder

We are currently looking to recruit a permanent Coded Welder to work on a diverse range of medium to heavy Mechanical Engineering projects. We require fully skilled personnel to work on close tolerance work with a good all round engineering experience. Applicants must be time served or able to demonstrate a competency through experience within the workplace. Must be proficient in MIG welding using 1.2 wire; experience in medium to heavy MIG welding, FCAW welding and qualified to ASME IX or BSEN 287 would be preferred. Ideal Experience: * Experience within a fabrication environment. * Experience in both light and heavy MIG welding * Qualified to ASME IX or BS equivalent * Coded to a recognised standard * MMA/FCAW * Ultrasonic work * The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings. * Overhead crane operating experience. * A high standard of safety awareness and housekeeping. Personal Qualities Required: * A team player willing to assist fellow colleagues. * A good verbal communicator.
