Warehouse Operative/Cleaner

Apply today to work as a Warehouse Operative/Cleaner for our client's well-known main distribution centre. Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives/Cleaners in Tamworth, Staffordshire. The rate of pay is £12.71 - £14.98 per hour. Overtime is available and is paid at: - Days £16.90 per hour - Nights £18.17 per hour This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, Monday to Friday, and the hours of work are: - 2pm to 10pm - 10pm to 6am Your Time at Work As a Warehouse Operative/Cleaner you will be responsible for: - Sweep, mop, and vacuum aisles, loading bays, and walkways. Operate mechanical scrubber-sweepers to remove grease, dirt, and debris - Emptying bins and putting fresh bin liners into bins - Responding quickly to spills (powders or liquids) to keep everyone safe and the environment tidy. - Reporting any issues to keep our site up to scratch - Safely handling and storing cleaning chemicals. - Keeping all areas clean and tidy Our Perfect Worker Our perfect worker will have a keen eye for cleanliness, hygiene, and the ability to follow instructions and procedures. You will have an understanding of health & safety rules in a factory environment. Applicants will have excellent time management and independence skills. Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
