Finance Officer /Accounting Technician

Otley Hours: 15-20 hours per week, flexible
Contract: Temporary, with potential to extend Office-based

A well-established business based in Otley is looking for a Part-Time Finance Administrator / Bookkeeper to join their team on a temporary basis is a varied role combining day-to-day finance duties with general administration and would suit someone looking for flexible part-time hours.
Reporting to the Finance Director, your responsibilities will include:
Processing and checking invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
Matching supplier statements to purchase ledger records
Investigating discrepancies and chasing missing invoices and credit notes
Managing credit card administration, including statements, receipts and supporting documentation
Preparing Excel spreadsheets and information for management
Assisting with sales applications, schedules and data entry
Supporting vehicle administration, including MOTs, servicing and repairs
Assisting with the implementation of Eque2 Cloud
Providing general finance and administrative support to the Finance Director and bookkeeper
You'll have previous experience within a finance, bookkeeping or office administration environment and be comfortable handling a varied workload.

Good Excel, Outlook and general IT skills
Accurate data entry and record-keeping skills
Experience with Sage 50, purchase ledger, supplier statement reconciliations, invoice processing or construction industry administration would be advantageous. Experience with Eque2 or supporting a software implementation would also be beneficial you'll get in return
