What you’ll be doing
You’ll play a key role in keeping our customers safely on the road by:
● Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles.
● Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
● Completing repairs including engines, brakes, suspension and electrical systems.
● Conducting vehicle health checks and identifying additional repair requirements.
● Ensuring every job is completed to manufacturer and company standards.
● Keeping accurate records of work completed and parts used.
● Working closely with fellow technicians and workshop colleagues.
● Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop.
● Using workshop tools and equipment safely and effectively.
What you’ll bring
● Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
● NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
● Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
● The ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop.
● A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
● Good communication skills.
● A full UK driving licence.
Extra credit if you’ve got…
● Experience working in a main dealer or independent garage.
● Knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicles.
● A passion for learning and developing your technical skills.
