Senior Commercial Manager

About the role of Senior Commercial Manager As Senior Commercial Manager, you will be joining a Tier 1 Main Contractor who operate across Europe with a London office based in the City. They deliver major building, infrastructure, rail, highways and commercial developments with a turnover of over £1bn. You will be supporting the commercial team on a large commercial development in Central London reporting into the Commercial Director whilst a team of up to 8 surveyors report into you. You will be overseeing the commercial function of high-value projects upwards of £200m within their commercial office/mixed use division. Key Responsibilities of Senior Commercial Manager Include but not limited to; Act as Commercial lead on a high profile, high value project (£250 million plus), leading on all elements of contract procedures Oversee the administration of the head contract whilst delegating responsibilities Lead the commercial team and work with the commercial director to create the project execution plan Provide a comprehensive service to address any contractual or commercial issues of the project Regularly report on commercial data Work in conjunction with design team advising on budgets and affordability Ensure the strategy for contracted works is developed and takes into consideration the procurement procedures Key Requirements of Senior Commercial Manager Live within commutable distance to Central London Experience leading multiple major projects valued £150m+ ideally in the commercial/mixed-use sector JCT contract experience Experience dealing with large claims Degree in a construction related subject Experience managing a teamWhat's on offer: Salary of up to £130k + Package Car Allowance Travel Allowance Private Healthcare Bonus scheme Progression path to Commercial Director If you want to hear more about this Senior Commercial Manager role please apply with an up-to-date CV or contact Lucy Murphy on (phone number removed)
