CNC Operator – Manufacturing (Kawneer / Metal Technology Systems) Location: Cardiff Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Industry: Manufacturing / Aluminium Window & Door Systems Salary: Up to £27k Job Overview Rhino Recruitment recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator on behalf of a busy manufacturing client based in Cardiff. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC machinery within the aluminium window, door, and curtain walling sector, specifically working with Kawneer and/or Metal Technology systems. This role is suited to someone with strong technical knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities * Operate and set CNC machinery for aluminium fabrication * Manufacture aluminium window, door, and curtain wall components to specification * Read and interpret technical drawings and production schedules * Programme, adjust, and monitor CNC machines where required * Work with Kawneer and Metal Technology profiles and systems * Carry out quality inspections on finished products * Ensure all work is completed accurately and within production deadlines * Maintain machinery and keep work areas clean and safe * Follow all health & safety procedures and company standards Essential Requirements * Proven CNC operating experience within aluminium manufacturing * Previous experience working with Kawneer and/or Metal Technology window and door systems * Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications * Strong understanding of fabrication processes and machining techniques * High attention to detail and quality standards * Good communication and teamwork skills * Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious Desirable Skills * CNC programming experience * Experience with curtain walling systems * Forklift licence (advantageous) * Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
