Assistant Manager, Insurance - Jersey/Guernsey

Our client is seeking an Assistant Manager to support and enhance their insurance operations across Jersey and Guernsey. This permanent role, based in either Jersey or Guernsey, offers the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, manage key relationships, and help shape risk and portfolio strategies. You will become an integral part of our client’s team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality service and robust management within a dynamic offshore environment. Key Skills and Experience Portfolio Manager: Experience in overseeing and optimising insurance portfolios, monitoring performance, and supporting strategic decision-making to ensure balanced growth and risk management. Relationship Manager: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries, and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and excellent service delivery. Risk Management: Understanding of insurance and operational risk, with the ability to identify, assess, and help mitigate risks in line with regulatory and internal frameworks. Local Knowledge: Familiarity with either Jersey or Guernsey financial services landscape, including local market practices and regulatory considerations, would be highly advantageous. Interested in Finding Out More? If you are ready to take the next step in your insurance career and contribute to our client’s success in either Jersey or Guernsey, please email faron.leprevost@ap-personnel.com with your current CV and any additional relevant information.AP Group is acting as an introductory service in relation to this vacancy.
