The Opportunity
Are you a highly driven Senior Site Manager with a proven track record of delivering major structural projects?
We are currently seeking an experienced freelance Senior Site Manager to spearhead a prominent new-build multi-room scheme in Warrington. This is a fast-paced, high-value project requiring a strong leader who can drive the programme safely, maintain exceptional quality standards, and manage a busy site from the ground up through to handover.
Key Responsibilities
Take full operational lead on site, driving the daily and weekly programme to ensure milestones are met on time and within budget.
Manage, coordinate, and drive various sub-contractors and site teams.
Enforce the highest standards of Health & Safety, conducting inductions, tool-box talks, and regular site inspections.
Oversee rigorous Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures.
Maintain accurate site records, diaries, and progress reports for the Project Manager / Contracts Manager.
Solve on-site logistical and technical challenges proactively.
About You
Proven Experience: A strong background operating as a Senior Site Manager on large-scale, new-build multi-room projects (PRS, hotels, or student accommodation).
Structural Knowledge: Solid experience managing the project lifecycle from groundworks and structural frame through to internal fit-out and handover.
Leadership: Exceptional man-management and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and hold sub-contractors accountable.
Qualifications:
Valid SMSTS
CSCS Black Card (Management)
First Aid at Work
Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) or Crane Appointed Person would be highly advantageous.
