With offices around the globe, they emphasize true, global collaboration by aligning their investment, technology, and operations teams functionally around the world.Position Overview:Assess and monitor the risk profile of discretionary trading strategies, identifying key exposures and potential areas of concern.Support the construction and optimisation of trading portfolios across the discretionary investment business.Work closely with Quantitative Researchers and Traders to assess strategy performance, risk characteristics and overall portfolio impact.Lead initiatives to strengthen the firm’s risk management framework, enhancing processes, tools and infrastructure used to oversee the discretionary trading activities.Conduct portfolio-level risk analysis, assessing performance attribution, key drivers and interactions between individual strategies.Monitor adherence to risk limits and capital allocations established by the Investment Committee.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or related field (includes degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Financial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science and Physics); advanced degree preferred.Years Experience:From graduate level up to 3 years of commercial experienceRequired Skillset:Demonstrated interest in Risk ManagementDemonstrated interest in a quantitative approachCapacity to collaborate with the trading, analysts and quants teamStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with teammates globallyStrong sense of urgency with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.Reference: AMC/THO/JRM/001Postcode: EC2M#thhoApply for this vacancyYour CV will be sent to the selected department.
