They're now looking for a hands-on Engineering Team Lead to join their growing backend team.

This role is ideal for a strong Senior or Lead software Engineer who still loves coding, architecture and solving complex technical challenges, but wants to take their first real step into people leadership and team management.

Equally, this opportunity would appeal to a hands-on engineering manager who is looking to get back closer to technology and delivery.

You'll play a key role in designing and building scalable backend systems, APIs and microservices while helping to guide and mentor a small, high-performing engineering team in a business which is truly scaling.

* Strong backend engineering background (this could be Java, .Net, Python etc

* Experience building scalable distributed systems and APIs
* Exposure to cloud platforms and Kubernetes
