A leading international insurance business is seeking a Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst to join its high-performing finance team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant with Lloyd's and/or insurance experience to gain broad exposure across financial reporting, planning, forecasting, regulatory reporting and business partnering within a globally recognised organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the production of quarterly underwriting performance commentary and financial analysis.
• Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting and long-term strategic planning processes.
• Contribute to group, regulatory and management reporting requirements.
• Support balance sheet reviews and financial performance reporting.
• Assist with statutory accounts preparation across multiple legal entities.
• Perform financial reviews and credit assessments of insurance intermediaries.
• Work closely with senior finance stakeholders on a variety of ad hoc projects and analysis.

About You

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified or actively studying.
• Previous insurance, reinsurance or Lloyd's market experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and planning processes.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs, SUMIFS and Power Query.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business.
• Prior practice experience would be advantageous.
