My client is on the lookout for an Electrical Engineer join the team.
They are a modern retail and e-commerce business who are looking for an electrically bias Maintenance Technician to carry out PPM within their warehouse facility based in Bradford.
Key Responsibilities – Electrical Engineer
Maintain equipment such as balers, compactors, roller shutter doors and canteen equipment.
Sprinkler system - maintenance and repair of sprinklers and associated equipment.
Fire alarms testing, testing and repair of emergency lighting and portable appliance testing.
Maintain and update records in a timely manner.
Efficiently manage breakdowns, diagnose faults and carry out repairs quickly and efficiently on site equipment to minimise production losses
To carry out repairs and maintenance of ventilation and air conditioning plant (excluding the refrigeration component)
To undertake first response to fire alarms (Full training given on site)
On call 1 week in 5 (building maintenance)
Qualifications & Experience – Electrical Engineer
Recognised apprenticeship in electrical engineering, preferably with Mechanical experience
City and Guilds Level 3 in electrical engineering (Course 2380 18th Edition) or equivalent
Extensive experience in installation, fault finding and repair of electrical equipment in an industrial/ commercial environment.
On Offer – Electrical Engineer
£40K
On call (standby payment - £25 days/£50 weekend), when called out = x1.5
Late shift – 12pm – 8pm (client can be flexible on start and finish time, etc 10am – 6pm) First 6 months will be starting on days
29 days holiday + bank holidays (option to buy more holiday)
Annual bonus
Pension matched up to 5%
