We're looking for a Category Manager to join an established public sector procurement team, where you'll have the opportunity to manage your own procurement activity, work across a variety of categories and play a key role in delivering value for money.

Reporting to a Senior Category Manager, you'll take ownership of procurement exercises for contracts valued up to £500,000, while gaining further exposure to category strategy, commercial decision-making and the legislation that shapes public sector procurement.

It's a role that offers a good balance of hands-on procurement, stakeholder engagement and the opportunity to build on your existing experience.

You'll already have experience in public sector procurement and be comfortable managing procurement activity from start to finish. Just as importantly, you'll be someone who can build relationships, communicate clearly and work with stakeholders who may not have a procurement background.
