A high-achieving and forward-thinking secondary school in Watford is seeking an exceptional Head of Maths to join their leadership team from September. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maths teacher or current middle leader looking to take ownership of a successful department within a supportive and ambitious school environment.

As Head of Maths, you will lead the strategic development of the department, support and develop teaching staff, and drive outstanding outcomes across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school is looking for a confident and inspiring leader who can motivate both students and colleagues while continuing to develop an ambitious and inclusive Maths curriculum.

Candidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Strong track record of successful Maths teaching

Previous leadership or departmental responsibility desirable

Strong organisational and communication skills
