About the role
Ready to Step Up from Quality Inspector to Quality Engineer?
Are you a Quality Inspector who is great on the shop floor, but feels stuck in a role that's just checking parts and signing off paperwork?
If you want to step up into a full Quality Engineer position where you actually investigate root causes, redesign processes, and get trained in high-spec engineering compliance, this is your ideal next step.
We don't expect you to know everything on day one. Under the direct, hands-on mentorship of our Quality Manager, we will train and support you through the engineering, QMS, and compliance side of the job.

Why This Role is Different
We manufacture life-critical, high-spec medical systems. Your practical inspection background gives you the perfect foundation for what we do, but here you'll be given the space and training to grow into a well-rounded engineer.
You'll get out from behind the desk, split your time between the engineering office and active manufacturing floor, and master specialized skills like high-pressure pneumatic testing and root cause problem-solving.
What You'll Be Doing (With Full Mentorship & Support)
Practical Shop-Floor Inspection: Using your keen eye for detail to inspect incoming/outgoing components, measure tight tolerances, and work alongside our production technicians.
Hands-On Pressure Testing: Learning to set up physical test rigs, run pneumatic pressure tests, and certify high-spec fluid/gas systems.
Root Cause Problem Solving: Moving beyond just logging an NCR. You'll investigate why a part failed, run root cause analysis (RCA), and help implement permanent engineering fixes.
QMS & Compliance Training: Receiving structured, step-by-step guidance on ISO-level QMS management, calibration logs, and audit readiness.Who We Are Looking For
You are a Quality Inspector or Technician who:
Has hands-on experience inspecting precision components or working in a regulated environment (aerospace, automotive, hydraulics, pneumatics, defense, or medical devices).
Can read engineering drawings and knows how to use precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Is hungry to learn: You want the title, the skill set, and the career path of a Quality Engineer, and you just need a manager willing to invest the time to mentor you.Ready to make the jump from Inspector to Engineer? Apply today or send us a message for a confidential conversation.
