Day-to-day of the role:

• Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of equality policies, strategies, and programmes.
• Provide expert advice on the Equality Act, Public Sector Equality Duty, and wider equalities legislation.
• Support the delivery of the Mayor's Reducing Inequalities Mandate and wider social justice priorities.
• Oversee the development of Equality Impact Assessments, tools, resources, and guidance across the organisation.
• Advise senior stakeholders, including the Deputy Mayor, Mayoral advisers, and the Corporate Management Team.
• Lead significant policy programmes from concept through to delivery and evaluation.
