Job Summary:

As an electronics engineer, you will be focusing on the design and delivery of complex electronic circuit assemblies and architectures, progressing solutions from concept through to system integration and qualification. You will be designingcutting-edgesystems for biomedical and consumer applications, gettinghands-on with both hardware and firmware design. This role involves working closely with software, application, product,sensorand ASIC teams, contributing to, and ensuring the successfuldeploymentof ourTMR sensors. You will play a key role inshaping product capabilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop hands-on PCB design skills in a fast-moving team building our TMR sensor products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electronic schematic design
  • PCB design and layout
  • Embeddedfirmware development
  • Hardware bring-up and debugging
  • Supporting prototype assembly and documentation
  • Contributing to the product development process

Requirements:

  • HND, HNC, college qualification or undergraduate degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field
  • 1-2years’ experience inhardware and firmware design
  • Strong technical skills with analogue and mixed-signal schematic and PCB design
  • Experience withmulti-layer PCB layout using Altium Designer
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solvesystem integration issues, and product development roadblocks
  • Ability to write subsystem requirements or procurement specs
  • A good understanding of engineering processes and lifecycles
  • Hands-on testing experience (rapid prototyping and soldering, board bring-up, debugging, EMC testing, etc.)
  • Strong communicationskills and technical report writing, with the ability to engage with multidisciplinarytechnical teamsasrequired
  • Willingness to travel fortechnical supportifrequired
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, capable of working independently or within a team in a fast-paced environment

Desirable:

  • Experience with MCU peripheral integration
  • Experience with C or C++
  • Experience with SPI/I2C/UART/USB/BLE firmware communications
  • Experience with low-power and IoT system designs
  • Background inelectronics systems for biosensing applications
  • Familiarity withSTM32and RTOS
