At Bright Horizons, we're expanding our network of Bank Safeguarding Investigators to support our Safeguarding Team with investigations ranging from low-level concerns through to complex, high-risk safeguarding matters across our nursery network.

This is a unique opportunity to apply your safeguarding expertise within a child-centred organisation committed to the highest standards of child protection, while enjoying the flexibility of bank working.

What you'll be doing:

Leading safeguarding investigations from initial concern through to conclusion

Assessing and managing risk to children throughout investigations

Collaborating with Operational Leaders, HR, Legal, Regulatory Specialists and external agencies

Producing clear, evidence-based investigation reports and recommendations

Ensuring children's voices remain central to decision-making

Identifying learning opportunities to strengthen safeguarding practice across the organisation

We're looking for:

Proven experience conducting safeguarding investigations or managing complex safeguarding casework

Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, processes and thresholds

Experience working with agencies such as LADO, Children's Services, Police or regulatory bodies

Excellent interviewing, analytical and report-writing skills

The ability to manage highly sensitive information with sound judgement and professionalism
