Warehouse Operative

Driver Hire Southampton is currently recruiting for a reliable, motivated and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join one of our well-established and growing clients. Please note: Our client is planning to relocate to the Andover area at the start of 2027. This role is therefore particularly suited to candidates who are based in the Winchester/Andover area or those with their own transport and are happy to travel to the new location. Current Location: Southampton The Role You will initially join the business within the packing department, learning the operation from the ground up and gaining a thorough understanding of the company's products and processes. Your responsibilities will include: Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently. Booking in deliveries and checking incoming goods. Preparing orders for dispatch. Organising and replenishing warehouse stock. Carrying out regular stock counts and inventory checks. Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse. Working as part of a team to achieve daily targets. Following company procedures and maintaining high standards of accuracy. Taking on additional responsibilities as you develop within the business.Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-18:00Following relocation: Monday to Friday 09:00-18:00Salary & Benefits £33,000-£35,000 per annum. Monthly performance-related bonus after three months. 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate. Full training and ongoing support. Monday to Friday working - enjoy your weekends free.
