Freelance Events Executive Location: Start Date: ASAP Job Type: Part-time (weekend work) Type of Work: Events (various locations across the Northern region) RunThrough is the UK's largest and Europe’s fastest growing running events company, dedicated to delivering exceptional running experiences and fostering a vibrant community of runners. We are in an extremely exciting period of growth, with over 350+ events planned and 480,000 entrants expected in 2026. As we expand our reach and continue to build our team, we are looking for an Event Executive to join our team on a part-time freelance basis covering events across the region! You will be working directly with our events team in Manchester, to organise and deliver running events across the region and helping runners to have the best experience at RunThrough events. Support our course event staff across weekend and occasional mid-week events - Checking venues and courses pre-event for any potential hazards - positioning signage, cones, dropping off course marshals, water stations etc - Lead cycling for events; The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in working in live events, an interest in running, and be a fast learner. They will work well as part of a team at events, focused on the course and supporting runners to ensure they have a safe and enjoyable experience. Ability to carry out manual tasks - Confident and able to ride a bike at the front of a road race - Passion for delivering faultless events with a customer-centric focus - Willing to work on weekends - Full UK manual Driving Licence and comfortable with driving a van, if required.
