CMM Quality Manager / Senior Inspector (Precision Engineering)
£43,680 per annum | £21 per hour (DOE) | Full-time | Luton, Bedfordshire

Permanent, full-time role (40 hours, 8am 5pm Monday -Thursday 8am 2pm Friday)

What Youll Be Doing
Inspecting precision components and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation
Using precision measurement tools including micrometres, gauges, and CMM equipment to perform quality assessments
Identify and report non-conforming components
Produce detailed inspection reports and quality documentation
Identifying defects, supporting root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
Work with production teams to improve manufacturing quality and reduce defects
Support the development and maintenance of quality procedures and systems maintaining our ISO9001 quality standards
What Were Looking For
Experience in quality inspection within a precision engineering environment
Experience programming and operating Aberlink preferred, other CMM software considered.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, including GD&T
Good communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively
Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO9001
