About the role

Programme Manager - Cat Friendly Homing Home-based, UK (with regular travel for meetings) Since 1958 International Cat Care (iCatCare) has been advancing the care of cats worldwide by sharing evidence-based expertise, as well as inspiring individuals and communities to drive change in the understanding, treatment and respect of cats. We have achieved this by providing cat caregivers, veterinary professionals and those working with unowned cats, with evidence-based, practical information, and the guidance and support they need to improve cat welfare. With better understanding of the species and their individual needs, we believe we can change the lives of millions of cats globally. As the Programme Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of our Cat Friendly Homing Programme, helping organisations around the world improve welfare outcomes for unowned cats through coaching, training and accreditation. Managing international projects, you will oversee the coaching programme and support a global network of coaches, learners and stakeholders to deliver high-quality learning initiatives. You will also drive the development of resources, training materials and the Cat Friendly Homing Accreditation Scheme, while monitoring programme impact, managing budgets and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Produce content for newsletters and support webinars, blogs, forums, podcasts and other promotional activities - To be considered as a Programme Manager, you will need: - Proven exceptional project management experience, including delivery of complex programmes - Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills - The ability to work independently and build relationships across an international network - A qualification or significant experience in veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing, animal welfare, clinical behaviour or a related field Closing Date : Midnight 9th July 2026 Other organisations may call this role Project Manager, Programme Lead, Project Lead, International Programme Manager, Training Programme Manager, Education Programme Manager, or Programme Development Manager. iCatCare actively promotes equality, diversity and inclusion.
