Design Engineer

Design Engineer Major Infrastructure / Civil Engineering We are working with a well established civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure projects and are seeking a Design Engineer to join their growing technical team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging infrastructure schemes within a business offering long term project security, career progression and an engineering led environment. The Role Working closely with the Design Manager and project teams, you will support the coordination and delivery of design activities across complex infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include: • Managing technical queries and design information • Coordinating consultants and design stakeholders • Reviewing drawings and design deliverables • Supporting BIM and digital engineering requirements • Managing design programmes and interface meetings • Supporting temporary works and CDM processes • Liaising with project and construction teams throughout delivery About You We are keen to speak with candidates who have: • Civil engineering or construction related experience • Design coordination or design management experience within infrastructure or heavy civils • Knowledge of BIM, CDM and construction delivery • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Heavy civils or tunnelling experience advantageous What's on Offer • Salary up to £55,000 • Company car or car allowance • Pension and comprehensive benefits package • Long term project security • Career progression and development • Opportunity to work on major infrastructure schemes Please apply with an updated CV
